Just for now ….. invite the mind and body to slow down.
Just for now….. feel the breath glide in and out without effort.
Just for now ….. quiet the inner critic and judge.
Just for now ….. feel the peaceful mind.
Just for now ….. feel the bliss of a calm body and mind.
Just for now ….. enjoy the pleasure in just being.
Just for now ….. rest in clear, unbiased awareness.

Techniques to fight anxiety

I have to go to the dentist on August 5th.  I'm trying really hard not to work myself up about it.  It is a mile outside of my comfort zone and I will probably have to spend an hour there.  This is something I have not done in 8 years.  When I get outside my comfort zone I start shaking and tearing up.  No matter how much I try to redirect my thoughts and focus, I end up loosing it.  The techniques I use are: positive thoughts, rubber band on my wrist, mp3 player, book for reading, and my deep breathing exercises.  I was wondering if any of you who might suffer from agoraphobia or anxiety disorders might have some techniques I haven't thought of.  I just really want to go and accomplish this task.

Please someone help me i am a single mother with two kids and no where to live.  If there is any one out there that has just a little shack or little shop that i could pay low monthly pwyments on. that i could fix up anything please...anyone  i just dont know where to look for help. Im trying to help my family have a home and be happy.  instead of homeless and scared please....
